"We've used our cooler on over 20-day paddles into the BWCAW. It fits perfectly into our day portage pack. We pack food and beverages to share on our paddles, the size is perfect. We have used it with and without the gel packs. Even on the warmest of days, one gel pack is all we used. We've found that it keeps food cool that has come from the fridge without the gel pack, but we prefer the extra coolness provided by the gel pack with beverages. The cooler has kept the food and beverages very cool, even on our longest days (8 hrs). It's well constructed, easy to zip, with built-in pockets for the ice packs well designed. We haven't used our soft-sided cooler since getting the Sta-Kold cooler, it's far superior and far superior for keeping food and beverages cool and protected. Excellent value!"

STAKOLD. Definitely an accurate description.  My wife and I received our cooler and could not be more happy. We love the zipper and handle, you can tell it’s made for the long hall. The zipper and handle are the first things you notice, good construction. The first thing we did is remove it from the box and drop the cooling inserts in the freezer door. The inserts are thin so they rest there until we are ready for an outing that needs a cooler. We’ve used it going to the neighbor’s house to keep food cold, we used it, as needed for fishing trips. But by far the best use was when we went to Bay St. Louis for vacation. Every morning we’d load the cooler and head to the beach. Best part of that is it’s light weight, NO ICE, and easy to carry.

The Sta-Kold cooler is now a staple in our household. It’s high quality and rugged construction makes it the perfect companion for all of our family adventures but it’s winning feature in my opinion is the innovative insulation technology that allows for our items to remain cold for DAYS!  There is absolutely no mess since its technology eliminates the need for using ice, and I’m constantly surprised by its performance.  Couldn’t recommend this enough, definitely my go-to cooler from here on out.
